Q. When does your hair start to fall out?
A. Usually 2 weeks from first treatment
Q. How long does it take to fall out?
A. It can take up to a week to fall out.
Q. Can you help with removing my hair when I can’t stand it anymore?
A. Yes as part of our service we can remove remaining hair in private and make sure your wig fits properly.
Q. Do the wigs get hot in summer?
A. They can get a little hot in summer but there are cotton caps, or we can line the wig with pure silk to make it more comfortable for you.
Q. How well do the wigs fit and stay on
A. The wigs are on stretch base with adjustable tabs to tighten the wig for extra security they also come in petite, average, large size.
Q. How do you maintain your wig?
A. We give you all washing instructions and sell all products required to care for your wig.
Q. How long should wig last?
A. If you follow all care instructions about 12 months.
Q. When will my hair grow back?
A. Hair starts growing immediately after chemotherapy treatment stops.
Q. How long will it take to grow?
A. This depends on the individual but as a general guide hair grows usually about one inch per month so you may need your wig for 6 months after your treatment stops.

Q. What are human hair wigs made from.
A. Our humain hair wigs are made from European hair and have pure silk bases for a more natural look and closer, more comfortable fit.
Q. Where does the hair come from
A. We source our hair from a hair factory in London.
Q. How long does it take to make a custom human hair wig?
A. A custom human hair wig generally takes three to four weeks from placement of order
Q. How long should a human hair wig last?
A. If properly maintained and serviced by us they will generally last for two to three years
Q. How often should a human hair wig be washed?
A. A human hair wig should be washed about once a month. You can bring them to us for clean, shampoo, blow wave or reset. We can also do any repairs such as adding hair or re-dying hair if the wig has faded. This helps to extend the life of your wig, or hairpiece.
The Process
We require 3x fittings.
1. The first fitting we do a full consultation to meet you, the customer and understand your specific requirements and to take head measurements and discuss solutions, style and colours.
2. The second fitting is to try on the silk base for your wig to make sure it fits properly and draw in partings and crowns, and also check hair colour.
3. The third and final fitting the wig is fitted, cut and styled on you and we show you how to fit it yourself, and give you tips on how to best maintain your new wig. It is then ready for you to take home.
